Dr. Vahid Babaeian, or “Dr. B” as he is known by his patients, completed his undergraduate studies and dental degree at UCLA. He further did a three-year residency in orthodontics at the University of Pittsburgh. He is also board-certified in orthodontics (ABO diplomate).
He began practicing orthodontics in 1997 and started his practice in Downey in 1999. Since then, he has been very active with different organizations, the Downey Rotary Club, the Downey Chamber of Commerce, and has acted as president for the Downey Dental Academy.
He has sponsored many local schools’ sports teams as he is a huge sports enthusiast, and his office theme is all about sports.

Dr. B loves practicing orthodontics and creating beautiful smiles. His practice also works with the Kaiser maxillofacial department in Anaheim for treatments needing orthognathic surgeries.
Family Life
He met and married his lovely wife in dental school at UCLA, and they have been married for 25 years. Together they have two beautiful children, a son and a daughter. The family also has a Maltipoo dog named “Coco.”
